Road trip to PhotoIreland.

Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek and Stephen Elsler will soon be setting off on an epic road-trip from Vienna to PhotoIreland festival in Dublin where Daniel is exhibiting in our Self group show at Indigo & Cloth. He took a similar trip through California last year documenting it all for his book and he plans to do the same again this time. We will follow his journey from Innsbroke Austria on and report back here on the blog over the next few weeks. Good luck Daniel!!!

Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek Inemuri, featured in Waterfall Magazine from Taiwan.

Inemuri is about businessmen as they practice inemuri, a soft sleep or sleeping whilst present. It is a socially accepted practice and is respected in Japanese working culture. It is a depiction of dedication.

Waterfall emphasizes on the instantaneous aesthetic experiences and small pulsations brought on by daily life. By presenting the details of these moments, the magazine reinforces readers’ own sensitivity and appreciation for the beauty of daily routine based on each individual’s own life experience.

Inemuri can be viewed on our website or licensing archive.

Waterfall can be purchased at HUH. Magazine
